Big Mike represents the memes of the Viridian Movement. When it dies, its building blocks will uneasily shift and influence new movements, with some ideas just being dropped. The newly forming organism at the upper left is the post-Viridian environmental design movement, incorporating some Viridian style and ideology. The one at the right joins a broad set of ideas within the mainstream environmental groups about the usefulness of influencing product design. The small one at the bottom is the history and memory of the movement.
