Thomas Gale Moore wrote the paper Health and Amenity Effects of
Global Warming and made it available prior to peer review as a
working paper. It has been submitted to a major economics journal for
publication. It is similar in subject matter to an
earlier paper of Moore's. Both the
original copy
of this paper and the
current copy
are available.
Moore's paper has been informally reviewed by Dr. Laurence Kalkstein of
the University of Delaware, who has done research on heat-related deaths.
His
critique, which found major problems
with Moore's approach, makes up the major content on this page. Moore
also submitted a
rebuttal to this critique.
Robert Grumbine reviewed Moore's use of statistics. His
review found very significant problems.
